We bowled at Casey Lanes in La Porte..Becky Jeffers and I, and of course my partner in crime, Bob handled all the kids who came to bowl...all 11 og them...Yeah, I think they all decided to come and have a good time with us.. WE were missing a few of "our regulars" but picked up some new kiddos and we had FUN.

Not everyone had the same style but it didnt matter, no made fun of anyone else, no one even cared. It is amazing how many you points you can get bowling through you legs...
One of the boys didn't want to bowl at all, because he would have to put on someone else's shoes..WHAT??? Is he autistic or something?? I guess every once in awhile we need to be reminded, so he sat and talked Bob's ear off (pardon the idiom)

Many of the boys, yes it was all boys, ended up
developing great form and racking up the points with strikes and spares. Way to go guys.

Everyone had a good time and some of the kids actually stayed longer with their parents after
everyone else went home. During the time we were there, several of the boys learned how to do
many thing related to bowling: keeping score, waiting turns, skipping players (when someone had to go to the bathroom or couldn't wait to get some FOOD..Guess who that was?? He is in eighth grade..and his initials are T.J. for those of you reading this who know my kids...) , even bowling without bumpers as some of the kids had...
Yes, the kids had fun, learned alot, and didn't want to go home..I on the other hand, who has never bowled, learned alot and was anxios to go home...7 am to 8 pm is a very long day..BUT well worth it. The kids want to go bowling again next time and I think we will..They deserve to have nights out too. I LOVE MY KIDS...(surprise!!!)

oh my gosh...I just want to laugh...in fact, I haven't stopped. Stopped since your last post, that is! Ha-Ha
I can picture you and dad there with the kids...I bet they had an awesome time. And seriously...I haven't heard you mention TJ in forever. He likes to eat? Ha-Ha
Keep doing what you do--just wish you could do your job here in IL, or WI...closer to us! LOVE YOU
Looks like a great time. I'm sure the kids loved it.
We never go bowling because of Beau's back. If you lived in MN I would have totally helped joined you guys.
Hmmmmm...so do they break 35? If they don't, I might want to get in that gig. I've got a mean spin, as long as they don't get picky and designate a certain lane that the ball has to go down. The people at the last bowling alley got all ticked, just cuz I slipped over my lane, and hit two pins in the next lane...geezzz...like they didn't need the help! Soooo...a bowling alley 3 hours away might be my last chance. It is hard to get motivated after a full day of work, but once you get there, it is fun, isn't it!...
